Research Project; Heat, Seal, Sublimate 

In the Artechlab I’ve researched the possibilities to construct and manipulate textiles. To do this I have used a thermo press, sublimation ink and ‘vliesofix’. With the use of the technique of the thermo press I’ve constructed new fabrics . The thermo press is a device that allows you by means of heat and pressure to manipulate and imprint textile. By applying heat and pressure the fibers of the fabric will open and absorb the ink. I also researched the possibilities of melting materials into the fabric.
